Art Critique This artwork was drawn by Elizabeth Lopez. She has many famous powerful artwork on display especially in Peru. This artwork looks powerful and I think it shows her or some woman experiencing a hard time or stress. She used lots of shading and light colors throughout this work to create this person. Her holding her head with her eyes close shows she going through some type of stress or issue. She uses more lines and strokes more than anything in this artwork. This work makes me think she is crying by how her head is down and she is pulling at her hair. The artist doesn’t use color in this artwork because color is used to show more happy or joyful things but in this drawing she uses grey and light and dark pencil shades which symbolizes the sadness in this work. I think this work is meant to make people feel the same feeling as the lady in the drawing.
